Everything you need to know about Chrome styling accessories

Chrome styling products are the perfect accessory to upgrade the look of your van and give it a stylish finish. We have a range of different chrome products listed on the website including, handle covers, mirror covers, grille covers, light and indicator surrounds and sill covers.
All our chrome products are precision made and produced to OEM standards for a perfect fit. They are also manufactured from either high-quality 304 grade stainless steel or ABS Plastic ensuring they are very durable and corrosion resistant!
The chrome products made from ABS Plastic come in a satin (brushed) chrome which has a matte finish which can give your van a serious edge over other vans. We believe the matte finish would look great on a blacked-out van.
We list two different colours of chrome products, we have the dark chrome or chrome which give vans very different looks.

Dark Chrome
Dark chrome gives your van a dramatic enhancement that is rather unique as dark chrome products aren’t as mainstream so will ensure your van stands out from the rest.
We believe the dark chrome works well with orange, black or white vans as it offers a great contrast on the van with a sleek and sophisticated finish.
Chrome
The original chrome does come across shinier due to its lighter colour especially in the sun. A lot of drivers prefer the regular chrome as it goes well with existing chrome features on their van.
The chrome products go especially well with green or blue vans and can give a stylish and exciting edge to the van.

How are they fitted?
Many of our chrome products fit over the existing features on the van instead of being replacement parts.
Fitting these chrome products couldn’t be easier with the pre-applied 3M tape, the tape is designed to keep the products in place by creating a strong, permanent bond.
Fitting instructions:
-
Wash and clean the area you are working on using a product with degreasing properties (like washing up liquid).
-
Once cleaned, make sure the area is completely dry before application.
-
If working at temperatures below 15C make sure you use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm the bodywork. The primer and adhesive works best above these temperatures and anything below can result in fitment failure.
-
Test fit the product before application. Do not remove the backing tape at this stage.
-
Once you're happy, apply the included primer to the bodywork and leave to dry for 5 minutes.
-
When the primer has dried, remove the backing tape from the adhesive strips and fit the product to the bodywork.
-
After applying the product, press firmly around the surface area. This will help make sure the adhesive is fully in contact with the surface.
Our top tips to ensure the best fitment
We advise that after application, make sure you leave the product to sit for at least 2 hours before driving.
If you drive after these 2 hours, please ensure you do not exceed 40mph in the first 24 hours as full cure time times takes 72 hours.
