The new year is the perfect time to kickstart your van conversion or continue it now the festivities are over. Whether you are working on a campervan, crew van or day van conversion ready for work, weekends away or even van life, we have all products you need!

Here is our van conversion process guide…

Windows

1. Windows

You may need to fit windows into your panel van or swap a fixed window for an opening window so you can allow ventilation through your van in the summer. We would always recommend fitting your windows before you complete any work inside your van, so make sure this is the first step in your conversion. Fitting windows can be a difficult and long process, so make sure you fit them on a dry day where you have about 3 hours to ensure you can fit the window properly. If you are unsure on how to fit a window or have never done it before, then we advise you seek professional help. Read our windows Q&A with a professional for more information on the process.

All of our windows are ‘E’ stamped, meaning they comply with the safety requirements at a European and global level. We have windows available for the side and rear of your van and they are available in dark tint or clear, and either fixed or opening - just use the vehicle selector to find the windows perfect for your vehicle. We would recommend purchasing one of our fitting kits too, which includes all the materials you need to fit your van windows; knock on trim, glazing adhesive, primer and glass wipes.

Interior Panels

2. Interior Panels

We have trim sets, side panels and step panels available for the interior of your van. They are all made from black hard-wearing plastic and they are genuine OEM products. The step panels protect the sliding door footwell and the side panels are perfect for van conversions, as they are a direct fit that requires no modification or drilling; they are simply fitted using the clips provided. All of our genuine B Pillar Trim sets cover metalwork once a bulkhead has been removed from your vehicle, they will give your van an OEM style finish.

VanLining

3. Van Lining

Once your windows are fitted and your van is insulated, fitting some van lining will help bring comfort to your van and help to keep it warm in the winter. All of our van lining is made from 100% polypropylene fibre, which has a smooth 'velour' texture and a soft finish. It's also strong and very lightweight, meaning wear and tear will be minimal; it has a pliable trim that can be moulded to any awkward corners or bends like windows and wheel arches.

We have bundles available in our van lining, which comes in black, dark grey, light grey and beige. You can order 5m or 10m bundles with 5 or 10 cans of Trim Fix Adhesive Spray, and if you need more, we can send the lining out to you in one continuous length up to 40m. Or if you don’t need a lot of lining you can order in multiples of 2m x 1m, but please note our van lining is cut to order making in non-returnable. We do advise that 10m will be suitable to line the rear of a Medium Van (eg. T4, T5).

We have Trim-Fix High-Temperature Spray Contact Adhesive available to secure your lining in place and this is supplied with our lining bundles. Trim-Fix is a multi-purpose and heavy-duty adhesive specially formulated for use in the automotive industry. It is extremely easy to apply, making it ideal for use in vehicle trimming applications and it is high-temperature resistance up to 120°C.

Curtains

4. Curtains / Thermal Screens

A set of curtains is the perfect finish to any camper or van conversion! All of our curtains are available in either black or grey, the black curtain sets are completely blackout providing full privacy and improved thermal insulation due to the double layer premium fabric. We have curtains available for the sides and rear of your vehicle and we do also have cab divider curtains available too, they are all tailored to the vehicle specifics for a perfect fit. All of our curtains are supplied with tie-backs, pre-bent aluminium rails and all fixings.

Thermal Screens

Or if curtains aren’t for you, we have the perfect alternative. Our Thermal Screens are perfect for keeping your campervan, motorhome or van cool in the summer and warm in the winter as they provide outstanding insulation. They deliver complete blackout too so are perfect for any van life conversion and they prevent condensation build-up! All of our thermal screens are easy to fit with suckers that attach to your windows, so you can fit them at night and remove them during the day.

No need to stop there, we have a huge range of other products that will help complete your van conversion. If you’re looking for the essentials, we have floor mats and seat covers to protect your van’s interior or if you need to carry any leisure equipment or luggage on the roof of your van we have roof racks  available.
