You may have a roof rack system fitted to your van to help you carry those heavy loads, but are you getting everything you can out of your roof rack?

We have a huge range of roof bars or roof racks available for your van, as well as a range of different roof rack accessories to make carrying your heavy loads even easier! All of our roof rack systems and accessories come from two major manufacturers for commercial vehicles; Van Guard and Rhino Products.

Here are all the roof rack accessories we offer and why you need them…

Ladder Clamps

Using ladder clamps will ensure safe and easy transportation of ladders on your van. Ladder clamps attach to your roof rack and clamp your ladders in place tightly. All of our ladder clamps come in pairs with locks and keys to reduce the risk of theft and accidents.

We have two ladder clamps available, one from Van Guard and one from Rhino Products.

Our Van Guard ladder clamps are manufactured from high-quality zinc plated steel and they have been fully crash tested to ECE Reg 17. They are supplied with 2 padlocks, providing excellent security for your ladders.

The Rhino ladder clamps are revolutionary as they accommodate three nested ladder sections and they have replaced the traditional ladder clamp and padlock systems. Rhino products pride themselves with this product as their safe clamp operation is five times faster than other ladder clamps. This product has integrated locks so all you have to do is turn the lever and the key then your ladders are locked firmly in place!

Load Stops

Load stops are designed to grip to your roof bars and restrain your loads from shifting when you are braking or going round corners.

Our range of load stops are specifically made for either Rhino or Van Guard roof bars. The VanGuard load stops are for the ULTI Roof Bars and they can be easily moved across the bars using the innovative T-track system. They are manufactured from hard-wearing plastic, sold as a pair and can be fitted in 5 minutes.

The Rhino load stops are very similar to the Van Guard load stops but they have a quick-release system that secures them underneath your roof bars. They can be positioned easily anywhere along your roof bars to keep any load secure. We have Rhino Delta load stops that are only suitable for the Rhino Delta Bar System and the Rhino KammBar Load Stops that fit to the Rhino KammBar systems only.  

Extension Brackets

We currently have Van Guard extension brackets available on Van Demon; they are designed to raise the Van Guard ULTI Bar systems by 63mm to provide extra height or clearance for roof vents or low-level beacons. They fix between the roof bracket and the roof bar and they are manufactured from pre-galvanised steel with no drilling required to fit them. Please note the extension brackets aren’t suitable for vehicles with gutter brackets.

Beacon Bracket

If you're looking to fit a beacon to your roof bars, you will require a beacon bracket. We have two beacon brackets available; the Rhino Delta Beacon Holder is designed to fit the Rhino Delta Roof Bars, it is easy to fit with screws that secure it in place. This beacon holder is only suitable for beacons with single bolt fixing.

In case you hadn’t of guessed the other beacon bracket we have is from Van Guard Accessories and it is only suitable for Van Guard Ulti Bars. It is easy to fit and are manufactured from pre-galvanised steel and it is polyester powder coated.

Eye Bolts and Ratchet Straps

For these van accessories, we only have them available from Van Guard; the eye bolts are sold in pairs and can be fitted to safely secure items to your roof. Fitting the eye bolts couldn’t be easier as you slide the included rail into the ULTI Bar T-track system.

The ratchet straps we have available are also from Van Guard products and they can hold a load capacity of 800kg per strap. They attach easily to your eye bolts with an S hook and can be tightened to secure loads properly.

We do have bundles available, so you can get yourself some eye bolts and ratchet straps together!

Roof Platforms

We have a Van Guard Max Rack Roof Platform available; this provides a firm level surface to bridge between roof bars. It features anti-slip properties to reduce the risk of accidents for you and it drills easily to your roof rack with a fitting time of 10 minutes. The dimensions for this roof platform is 3000mm (L) x 360mm (W) and it is constructed from 18mm plywood with an aluminium finishing strip around each side.
