Most vans have great technology, security and practicality but there are different accessories that we believe all work vans should have to ensure the van’s condition is prolonged and the van itself and its contents are secure.

1. Door Locks

Van Theft has been on the rise in recent years massively and whilst van technology is increasing thieves are still breaking into vans and stealing tools, equipment and materials so making sure your van is secure should be any van owners’ top priority.

2. A Bulkhead

3. Tool and Material Storage

Another accessory perfect for protecting your materials that can’t be kept in your load area is pipe tubes. We have lockable, universal pipe tubes available in 2 metre or 3-metre lengths and they fit most roof racks. They are made from aluminium for strength and maximum protection from the elements.

4. Windows Grilles and Blanks

If you can see into the load area of your van from the outside because your windows aren’t tinted, then window grilles and blanks are the answer. They are a proven visual deterrent to thieves as they are unable to see the contents of your van. 5. Rear Steps

Rear steps for your van are a benefit in a variety of ways. Manoeuvring a van is considerably harder than a car due to their size and blind spots, so a rear step is perfect to reduce the risk of bumping your van when parking or loading. Rear steps also give you peace of mind when stepping in and out of your vehicle or loading/unloading roof-mounted equipment. 6. Roof Rack or Roof Bars

Most work vans require a lot of storage for all tools, materials and equipment and sometimes these won’t fit in your vans load area so fitting roof bars or a roof rack to your van is perfect.

7. Rear Roller

8. Rear Door Ladders

An alternative to a rear roller is a rear door ladder, they are ideal for easy loading and unloading to your roof rack system. A rear door ladder is perfect for larger vehicles like a Mercedes Sprinter or VW Crafter and they are all made from hardwearing powder-coated steel. They feature user-friendly handrails and anti-slip treads, making them the safest and easiest option to access the roof of your van.

9. Seat Covers

Any tradesman who uses their van for work knows how dirty the interior of your van can get so fitting some seat covers will ensure you prolong the life of your seats in your van. All our seat covers are 100% waterproof, machine washable and made from 600-denier polyester material. 10. Floor Mats
