- Load and unload at ground level - gas-ram assisted lifting means ladders slide on from the rear of the van and lift into place with minimal effort, removing the need to climb onto the roof or stretch overhead.
- Five gas ram adjustment positions - the lifting assistance can be tuned to your ladder weight and vehicle setup, so the system works as well with a light single as it does with a loaded double.
- BeltStow twin strap system - two straps pull the ladder in from opposite directions and stow away neatly when the system is empty, with a Rhino SafeClamp holding the load down so nothing shifts in transit.
Rhino SafeStow4 Ladder Loading System
If you load a ladder more than once a day, the roof of your van is the most dangerous part of your job. The SafeStow4 fixes that. Mounted to the roof bars on your , it lets you slide a ladder on from the rear of the vehicle, strap it down, and lift it into place with gas-ram assistance - all with both feet on the ground.
Gas-ram assisted, tuned to your load
The SafeStow4 does the lifting for you. Five gas ram adjustment positions let you set the assistance to match your ladder weight and vehicle height, so the system feels balanced rather than fighting you. Lowering is just as controlled as lifting - no drop, no snatch, no wrestling a wet ladder above head height.
Your ladder arrives in the same condition it left
The BeltStow system uses two straps pulling in opposite lateral directions while a Rhino SafeClamp secures the ladder downwards, so there is no lateral movement and no lift on the motorway. Both cross bars carry a rubber inlay, meaning your ladder never touches bare aluminium at any point. Rubber inserts on the brace bar cut transit rattle, and bump stops cushion the carriage as it returns to the stowed position. Four load stops are included as standard to suit different ladder widths.
Built for daily commercial use
Anodised aluminium, polymer composite and powder-coated steel components, engineered for vans that work every day rather than occasionally. At 3kg lighter than the SafeStow3 it replaces, you claw back payload without losing strength. TÜV Rheinland certified and crash tested.

Fits your - Roof bars are required
The SafeStow4 mounts onto a Rhino roof bar or rack system, which is sold separately. You will need a minimum of three Rhino Delta Bars, four Rhino KammBars, or a Rhino Modular or Aluminium roof rack. Fitting the SafeStow4 to non-Rhino bars is not recommended. Ladders are not included.
